IRONMEN

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

From fishing trips to mission trips, the men’s ministry at Lake Hills church provides opportunities for men to connect with God and with each other. This is not an exclusive club. God created all men to be Ironmen. We hope that you’ll join us so that we may spur each other along to be the men God created us to be!

IRONMEN provides so many ways to be involved:

IRONMEN SERVE

This is, perhaps, the backbone of the body of Ironmen. Because when men of Christ gather together to serve others, the Holy Spirit dwells. Ironmen gather to serve our church during Sunday service, special events and for “heavy lifting”, such a cedar clearing, etc. We gather to serve our city through Mobile Loaves & Fishes, the Austin Disaster Relief Network, and mentoring opportunites with God of Hope prison ministries, Texas Reach Out, and the Austin Children’s Shelter. We also gather to serve our world through organized Mission Trips to Mexico and Africa.

IRONMEN GROW

Through our weekly Bible studies, men’s retreats and special events, we seek to fulfill our vision to help men become fully devoted followers of Christ. Come and be engaged through teaching and small groups. To see the current list of Bible study groups, click here.

IRONMEN ROCK

Can I get an AMEN?! Just as important as serving and growing is our emphasis on having fun! Opportunities to enjoy this life together include Guy’s Night Out, Football-watching parties, game nights, fishing/camping trips, attending UT sporting events, grill & chill events, and our Fall Roundup that includes all things manly!
