Volunteer at Rush
RUSH Volunteers carry out the vision of the church. We believe it is crucial to have a wide talent and age range in and amongst our leadership team. For that reason, we are always looking for college students, young adults, young married couples, parents, and grandparents to help us in ministering to High School students all over Austin.

Volunteer Leadership Opportunities
Small Groups
Each week we have small groups immediately following the talk and are in need of leaders who can commit to being there every week to pour into the lives of the students. You will be assigned a grade, gender, and school and will be considered the minister to that group of students. Our goal here is to know students personally and help them to live as fully devoted followers of Christ.
Production
Whether or not you are trained, if you have a desire to operate powerpoint, sound, video, and/or lighting, we need you to be a part of our team. This commitment can be every week, twice a month, or once a month. Please email Russell Wilson to volunteer for this team.
Connection Points
Every week host homes provide a meal for our students in a welcoming and fun environment before carpooling to Rush on Sunday nights. There are 3 ways to volunteer
- Host Home: Provide welcoming home for gathering every week.
- Food Coordinator: Organize a “feed once a month” structure at their Connection Point, contacting parents to provide food, water, and perishables. Also offering hospitality, not just food.
- Ride Coordinators: Responsible for ensuring that every student has a safe ride to Rush. If needed will organize parents to provide transportation to Rush.
