Other Important Mission Efforts
Handyman Ministry
If you are good with tools and would like to bless others who have special needs, please join up with our new Handyman Ministry. This ministry is designed to serve those in our community who are unable to afford quality work around the house. To participate, or if you are somebody who could use the services of this ministry, please contact Ryan Kelsheimer (rkelsheimer@lhc.org).
Camp of the Hills
Website: http://www.campofthehills.org/
Location: Near Marble Falls, TX
Camp of the Hills is a summer camp dedicated to introducing Jesus Christ to inner-city kids. Through life-changing experiences at camp these kids experience Jesus like never before. Since 1991, almost 6,000 boys and girls from Texas metropolitan areas have spent one week in this beautiful place where shooting comes from stars (not from gangs), and the major concerns aren’t drugs and drive-bys but insect bites and sunburn.
Service Project Weekends: The camp makes ongoing improvements to the campgrounds throughout the year, and they are always in need of extra manpower. If your life group or your family is looking for a weekend service project, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Dates flexible.
