Wise Beyond Our Fears – New Teaching Series

NEW TEACHING SERIES

Almost every bad decision is rooted in fear or insecurity. God’s wisdom, however, grounds us in truth and love, anchoring our souls to the unshakable foundation of His character no matter what happens within us or around us. The biblical book of Ecclesiastes offers a firsthand account of a wise teacher’s intentional search for meaning through everything the world has to offer—only to reveal the emptiness of pursuing anything apart from a God-first life.

Ecclesiastes is a powerful reminder of God’s loving desire to protect us from our own destructive impulses. In the new teaching series, WISE BEYOND OUR FEARS, we’ll explore the rich wisdom of Ecclesiastes and its timeless guidance for navigating every pursuit of life with a Godly perspective.

Kicking off on Father’s Day, this series is the perfect opportunity to invite someone to join you!

Father's Day

On Sunday, June 21 at 9:15AM & 11:00AM, we’re celebrating the father figures who make a lasting impact in our lives!

Bring your dad, grandpa, uncle, coach, mentor—or anyone who’s been a father figure to you—for a morning full of worship, laughter, BBQ, and encouragement for the whole family.

Pastor Mac will kick off a brand-new teaching series, Wise Beyond Our Fears: A Study of Ecclesiastes, exploring how God’s wisdom anchors us in truth and steadies us through the fears, pressures, and pursuits of everyday life.

Plus, dads can enter (or be entered by family members!) for a chance to compete in a fun on-stage challenge during the service—with the winner taking home a $250 Home Depot gift card!

And yes… there will be It’s All Good BBQ sliders waiting for you, too.

It’s going to be an unforgettable Sunday, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Start inviting your people now—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

TRIBE: High School Camp

We're excited to head back to Breckenridge, CO for TRIBE 2026! It’s going to be an incredible experience packed with activities and engaging services. Each day will be anchored by an amazing activity like white-water rafting, ziplining, mountain-side adventure park, day hiking, and exploring Breckenridge. There will be plenty to do for both the highly adventurous and those that prefer to take it easy and take it all in!

While in Breckenridge,  we'll be taking advantage of all the fun the mountains have to offer, and students will get to share experiences that they will remember for a lifetime! But the most impactful part of TRIBE is what happens when we pause the recreation and focus on God together. At TRIBE, your student will get to engage in teaching from the Bible, impactful services,  and small group conversations. The leader your student will be paired with will be their guide not just for a week of fun, but for a week of realignment to the Good News of Jesus. We would love for your high school student to join us!

Payment plans available. CLICK HERE to secure a spot for your student.

Your 5-year-olds are probably pumped about joining the big kids upstairs. On May 17th and May 24th, we will take a small portion of service time to give your incoming Kinder kid a tour of their new elementary area. Our hope is that this will help them to feel more comfortable when they officially move up on Sunday, May 31.

6th/9th Grade Prep
We know that transitions are exciting, but can also be tough - especially for students. In hopes of easing the transition, we will take a portion of service time on May 17 and May 24 to give incoming 6th graders a tour of our Middle School environment. On those same dates, we will also have our High School small group leaders drop into Middle School to meet and answer questions for our incoming 9th graders. Additionally, this year we are hosting High School preview nights for our incoming 9th graders. Have your incoming 9th grader join us at 7PM on Wednesday, May 6 and Wednesday, May 13 for our High School Service to get a glimpse into high school life at Lake Hills Church.
