All of our Kids and Student services revolve around teachings from the Bible. Here, we’re cueing you in on what we talked about this Sunday in church so you can continue the conversation throughout the week. We hope these resources lead to some awesome Jesus-centered discussions in your home!

STAYING OUT OF DRAMA

DRAMA is everywhere, but we don’t have to be the epicenter of it all. We can do our part to remove ourselves from gossip and avoid spreading drama. Instead of personally going down the path of drama and bitterness, Jesus teaches us exactly how to deal with other and live drama-free. Check out Matthew 18:15-17

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The STRONG ENOUGH PROJECT challenges kids to "be strong and courageous" as they try something new, independently. When kids do something new on their own, fear and worry are replaced with courage and confidence. The goal is for your child to choose a project or task that he/she can complete WITH YOUR PERMISSION, but WITHOUT YOUR HELP.

Our goal is to empower kids with courage and curiosity, so that they try new things, learn that failure isn’t fatal, and discover more about themselves and who God created them to be. We also believe that doing new things on their own will minimize and mitigate anxiety and fear, as they develop resourcefulness, agency, and grit. Using the STRONG AND COURAGEOUS memory verse, we want to equip them with the truth that God is with them everywhere and will give them all they need to live the full life they were created to live.

SERIES VERSE

“Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

-Joshua 1:9
